Minimum Educational Qualification :
Essential : A degree in Civil Engineering of a recognized University or its equivalent.
Desirable:
i) One year’s post Graduate practical training or study or research or practical Engineering experience.
ii) Passing the Examination of ‘O’ level in Computer application approved by AICTE.
Age : Age not more than 37 years as on 1st January , 2016.Upper age concession upto 5 years is relaxable only to SC/ST candidates and upto 3 years to OBC(A&B) candidates of West Bengal.Such benefits are also available upto 45 years for Physically Handicapped Candidates. The upper age limit for KMC employees possessing requisite qualification prescribed for direct recruitment to the post of Asstt. Engineer Civil) in the KMC will be relaxed upto 50 years as on 1st January, 2016.

Essential :
i) A Diploma in Civil Engineering from the State Council for Engineering or Technical Education or its equivalent.
ii) One year’s practical Training or studying or research or practical engineering experience in the Municipal Engineering work.
Age : Age not more than 40 years for OBC(A&B) Candidates and 42 years for S.C/S.T Candidates & 45 years for Physically Handicapped Candidates as on 1st January, 2016.

Application Fee: (Non refundable)
1) Application Fee for General, O.B.C.(A) and O.B.C.(B) candidates is Rs. 150/- (Rupees One hundred and fifty) plus processing charges Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty) plus Rs. 20/- (Rupees Twenty) towards Bank Charges for Challan deposit.

2) For S.C., S.T. and P.H. candidates only processing charges of Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty) plus Rs. 20/- (Rupees Twenty) towards Bank Charges for Challan deposit.

3) The application fees plus processing charges as mentioned in Para’s (1) and (2) above shall be collected by all the branches of the United Bank of India and the same to be deposited to Account No. 0088010367936 through Challan generated after submission of On-line Application at our website mscwb.org.

4) Besides above, a candidate may opt. for On-line payment of aforesaid fees and charges through Indiaideas.com Limited (Bill Desk).

Last Date :
Last date for Registration for on-line application and generation of challan is 03/01/2017 and application fee along with processing charges must be deposited to the Bank by 05/01/2017 and the process of submission of Application must be completed by 06/01/2017.
