Medical Officer, Nurse Recruitment :

Applications are invited from the intending candidates desire to work in project mode for filling up the following vacant posts to be posted at the Opioid Substitution Therapy (OST) Centers for the Injecting Drug Users (IDU) under Assam State AIDS Control Society, Khanapara, Guwahati – 22 on contractual basis for a period of one year which may be renewed based on performance appraisal or co-terminus with the project.

Qualification/Experience : Minimum qualification MBBS. Candidates with MD in Psychiatry/Diploma in Psychiatry Medicine will be preferred. The candidates must have valid registration with the concerned Medical Council.

Name of Post : Nurse
No. of Posts : 3
Qualification/Experience : ANM from Govt. recognized institutions. Diploma Nursing/B.Sc Nursing will be preferred.

Name of Post : Counselor
No. of Posts : 1
Qualification/Experience : Bachelor Degree in Psychology/Social Sciences/Humanities. Training in Counseling Drug Users and prior working experience with Drug Users will be preferred.

Name of Post : Data Manager
No. of Posts : 1
Qualification/Experience : Bachelor Degree with Diploma in Computer Application

The age of the candidate should not be more than 60 years as on 1st November, 2016. Local and deserving candidates will be given preference. The society may short list the number of candidates on the basis of their marks obtained in the qualified academic examination required for the post as mentioned above if the no. of applications received is large and only short listed candidates will be called for the interview.

Standard Form of application in a sealed envelops containing bio-data along with the self attested copies of certificates / mark-sheets, contact no. & 1(one) copy of recent passport size photograph should reach the office of the undersigned on or before 20th December, 2016.

Applications received either by post or by hand after last date of submission of form will not be accepted. The name of the post applied for should be clearly written on the envelop.
