INDIAN NAVY INVITES APPLICATIONS FROM UNMARRIED MALE CANDIDATES FOR ENROLMENT AS STEWARDS, CHEFS AND HYGIENISTS FOR MR/NMR- OCT 2017 (02/2017) BATCH COURSE COMMENCING OCTOBER 2017

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS :
Online applications are invited from Unmarried Male Indian Citizens and subjects of Nepal and Bhutan.
Educational Qualifications : Qualified in Matric (10th) class for MR and VIth class for NMR entry.
Age : Age 17 to 21 years as on 01 October 2017 (born between 01 Oct 1996 and 30 Sep 2000 (both dates inclusive)

HOW TO APPLY :
For this entry, the candidates can apply ONLINE ONLY, MANUALLY FILLED APPLICATIONS WILL BE REJECTED.

The procedure is as follows:
(a) Online Application Form. Candidates are to apply online through website joinindiannavy.gov.in from 19 Dec 16.
(b) Before filling online application, keep relevant documents like matriculation certificate & Mark sheet ready for reference.
(c) Filling up of information like email id is compulsory.
(d) Click on “Apply online Sailors Entry” on the home page of website joinindiannavy.gov.in.
(e) Fill up the form completely. Before clicking the ‘Submit’ button make sure all the details are correct and all required documents are uploaded after scanning.

(f) Print two copies of the online application form. One copy duly signed, alongwith attested copies of matriculation certificate, marksheet, domicile, NCC Certificate (if held) & one self addressed envelope of size 22×10 cms with Rs 10/- stamp affixed on envelope to be forwarded at the address given below.

(g) The type of entry, choice of centre and choice of Branch is to be clearly written on top of the envelope containing the application. Envelopes should be of brown colour.
Example. MR/NMR- OCT 2017 (02/2017), STATE – MAHARASTRA, BRANCH – STEWARD

(h) Last date for registration of online application is 02 Jan 2017.
(j) Physical receipt of application at this office is by 09 Jan 2017. Confirmation of an applicant would be on receipt of physical application by due date.
(k) Online applications will be further scruitinised for eligibility and may be rejected if found not eligible in any respect.

(l) Photographs. THE PHOTOGRAPH SHOULD NOT BE LATER THAN 03 MONTHS, CLEAR AND OF GOOD QUALITY WITH BLUE BACKGROUND. Application received without photographs will be rejected.

Note:- The candidates can apply only for one entry out of Chef or Steward in one batch. Candidates who send more than one application for the same entry or apply for more than one examination centre will be disqualified.

The application can be uploaded from Common Service Centres (CSC) across the country, against a fixed fees of Rs 60/-.

The application along with attached certificates are to be self attested.
