Recruitment of Assistant Director :

On Line applications are invited for the posts of Assistant Director (Boilers), Boiler Inspection Service, Class-2 between date 18/10/2016, 13.00 Hrs. to date 03/11/2016, 13.00 Hrs.

Physical as well as Educational Qualification & Experience:
(1) Have a good physique with not more than 180 cms, in height and not more than 105 cms.in girth and physically fit to enter comfortably the manhole of a boiler and manoeuvre himself fully inside the same;

(2) Possess
(i) a degree in Mechanical or Production or Power Plant or Metallurgical Engineering obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India, or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared as deemed to be University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Government;

(ii) a certificate of proficiency under the Gujarat Boilers Rules, 1966 or any other rules made in this behalf under the Central and State Act;
(iii) the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967

(3) Have not less than two years of experience as a technical personnel in the design, construction, erection, operation, testing, repair, maintenance or inspection of boilers or in the implementation of the Boilers Act, 1923 and the rules and regulations made thereunder;

(4) Possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

PAY: Rs. 9300-34800 (Grade pay- Rs. 5400)
AGE:-Not more than 42 years. Age will be calculated as on the last date of the receipt of application.

Application fee: Candidates of General Category have to pay Rs.100/- as Application fee. While candidates of Reserved Category of Gujarat State & candidates who is physically disabled have not to pay application fee. While candidates of Reserved Category of Other States have to pay application fee.
