Minimum Qualification :
Graduate with two subjects History and Political Science OR Hons Graduate with History or Political Science as a main subject and B Ed from a recognized university/ institute OR B.A. Ed with Social Science of the Regional College of Education.

Applicants must have passed CTET conducted by CBSE or TET conducted by State Govt.

Desirable :
(i) Teaching experience in English Medium Residential School.
(ii) Proficiency in Games & Sports, NCC, Co-curricular activities.
(iii) Knowledge in Computer Applications
(iv) Obtained minimum 50% marks in Graduation and B Ed.

Age: 21-35 yrs as on 01 Feb 17 or date of joining whichever is later.
Pay Band/ Perquisites/ Addl Benefits: Rs 9300-34800 Plus GP Rs 4600/-. Rent free accommodation, Transport & Medical Allowances, Subsidized Educations for two children, NPS and Gratuity etc as per Sainik Schools Society Rules & Regulations.

Application to be forwarded to the Principal, Sainik School Purulia, along with bio data, attested copies of certificates, two passport size photographs, one unstamped self-addressed envelope, and DD of Rs. 400/- for Gen and Rs. 200/- for SC/ST candidate (Non-refundable) drawn in favour of “Principal, Sainik School Purulia”.

Application must reach the school within 21 days from date of publication. Posts are transferable on all India basis. Only short listed candidates will be called for test/ interview. No TA/DA admissible. The school reserves the right to cancel the vacancy.
