Engagement of Field Supervisor – Telecom on contract basis for NOFN Project in ER-I

POWERGRID has been allotted 4 states including the state of Jharkhand for development of National Optic Fibre Network (NOFN) project and entrusted with establishing optical fibre connectivity to all Gram Panchayats.

To execute the consultancy service in Jharkhand State, POWERGRID, the Central Transmission Utility, of the country invites applications for the following temporary experienced posts on contract basis for a period of twenty four months or till the completion of project, whichever is earlier.

Essential Qualification : Should have Diploma in any discipline of Engineering from recognized technical Board/Institute with minimum 50% marks.
Upper Age Limit As On 14.02.2017 : 29 Years

Minimum Field Experience Required :
Should have one year post qualification experience in installation of underground OFC network.
OR
Underground electrical cables.
OR
Transmission network.
OR
Installation of electrical / Electronics / communication equipments.

Non- Refundable Application Fee : Rs. 100/-
Application Fee is to be paid in form of A/C Payee Demand Draft in favour of “POWER GRID CORPORATION OF INDIA LTD.” Payable at PATNA (preferably drawn on State Bank of India). Application fee is not refundable for any reason whatsoever.

Note: SC/ST/Pwd and Ex-servicemen are exempted from payment of application fee.
