Post/Discipline : Senior Scientist and Head
Pay Scale : Rs.37400 – 67000 + RGP Rs. 9000/-
Qualifications :
a) For Disciplines other than Engineering subject Doctoral degree in Agriculture including relevant basic sciences with 8 years experience in relevant subject Scientist/Lecturer/Extension specialist or in an equivalent position the pay band – 3 of Rs.15600 – 39100 with Grade pay of Rs..5400/Rs.6000/Rs.7000/Rs.8000 having made contribution to research/teaching/extension as evidence by published work / innovations and impact.

b) For Engineering disciplines:
Doctoral degree in relevant Agricultural engineering subject with 6 years experience as Scientist/Lecturer/ Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay band-3 of Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/ Rs.6000/ Rs.7000/Rs.8000 having made contribution to research / teaching / extension education as evidenced by published work/ innovative and impact. OR

c) Master’s degree in the relevant agricultural engineering subject with 10 years experience as Scientist/Lecturer/ Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay band-3 of Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/Rs.6000/Rs.7000/ Rs.8000 having made contribution to research/teaching/extension education as evidenced by published work / innovative and impact.

d) Desirable: Specialisation in implementing extension education programmes.

Post/Discipline : Scientist – Agricultural Extension.
Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 + RGP Rs.5400/-
Qualifications :
Essential: Master’s degree in the Agricultural Extension or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.
Desirable: Two Years working experience in KVK.

Post/Discipline : Scientist – Plant Protection
Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 + RGP Rs.5400/-
Qualifications :
Essential: Master’s degree in the Agricultural Entomology/Plant Pathology or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.
Desirable: Two Years working experience in KVK.

Post/Discipline : Scientist – Animal Husbandry
Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 + RGP Rs.5400/-
Qualifications :
Essential: Master’s degree in the Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.
Desirable: Two Years working experience in KVK.
