The institute offers the following programmes:
1. Diploma (3 years) in Electronics and Telecommunications, Computer Science, Control and Instrumentation Engineering, Food Processing Technology, Construction Technology and Animation and Multimedia Technology.

2. B. Tech. (4 years) in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Food Engineering and Technology, Civil Engineering and Information Technology.

3. B. Des. (4 years) bachelor degree programme in Multimedia Communication & Design.

How To Apply :
Offline Mode:
Candidates may collect the information brochure along with application form from designated centres on payment of requisite amount and submit it to “THE MEMBER SECRETARY, ADMISSION COMMITTEE, CIT KOKRAJHAR, P.O.: Kokrajhar B. T. A. D. Assam PIN- 783370” by speed post/general post/registered/courier.

Online Mode:
Candidates may fill online application form and send hard copy accompanied by demand draft or e-payment receipt of requisite amount and submit it to “THE MEMBER SECRETARY, ADMISSION COMMITTEE, CIT KOKRAJHAR, P.O.: Kokrajhar, B. T. A. D., Assam, PIN- 783370” by speed post/general post/registered/courier.

The application forms received after the last date will not be entertained. The institute will not be responsible for postal delay. Incomplete application form will be summarily rejected. Application fees are nonrefundable.

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION FEES :
The candidates collecting the Application Forms from different selling centers need not submit any examination fees (the price of Information Brochure is inclusive of Examination fees).

However, the candidates applying in the Online Application Form from CIT website must submit a demand draft of Rs.1000/- (One thousand) only for GEN/OBC candidates and Rs.500/- (Five hundred) for SC/ST/PC only in favour of “Entrance Examination CIT, Kokrajhar” payable at ‘SBI, Balagaon, Kokrajhar’ drawn on any nationalized Bank of India along with the Application Form.

While filling up the Application Form, refer to the Guidelines for filling the Application Form.

Online Form Filling Instructions :
Step 1: Register Yourself with the CIT Admission 2017 website with a Valid Email. This Email will be used to Provide you the Username And Password to login to CIT Admission Website. Example: xxxxx [AT] gmail.com Or yyyyy [AT] yahoo.co.in
An email containing password will be sent to your email

Step 2: Log On to Your Email provider (Yahoomail.com or Gmail.com) and Check for email. That Email will contain a PASSWORD which you can use to login to Your New account on the page LOGIN Use Your Email and Password To login. You can also change your password on this page.

Step 3: Upon Successful Login you will find a form. Fill Out the Form. Then click On ‘SAVE AND PREVIEW’

Step 4: This will preview the form before Final Submission. All the fields Are Mandatory If any field Is left, The ‘SUBMIT’ button will NOT APPEAR below Edit Button.

Step 5: After Submission of the Form, Take a Print Out of the Form and send the hard copy of application alongwith original copy of Demand Draft to The Member Secreatry, Admission Comittee, CIT Kokrajhar .

Step 6: Now you will need The following :
** An A4 Envelope.
** A 11cm X 30cm Envelope.
** Rs. 40/- Stamp to be affixed on 11cm X 30cm Envelope.
** Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- (for GEN/OBC) or Rs. 500/- (for SC/ST/PH) drawn from any nationalized bank must be made in favor of Entrance Examination CIT, Kokrajhar payable at SBI Balagaon/North Kokrajhar (Code No. 7379).
** An Unattested Identical Passport Photo (which you have Uploaded During filling Online Form) With Form number written on Its Back.(Do Not STAPLE/GLUE it with FORM)
** Xerox / Photocopy Of the Caste Certificate to which if you belong to.

Step 7: Provide The Demend Draft Details In the Login Area after the form Sumbission.

Step 8: Cut The Address Slip generated into 3 parts. Paste the Top Part (Part 1) On A4 Envelope.
Paste the Middle Part (Part 2) On 11cm X 30cm Envelope.
Keep The Bottom Part (Part 3) as Check list While enclosing items in A4 Envelope for sending.

Step 9: Enclose All Items in The A4 Envelope
** Signed Application Form.
** A 11cm X 30cm Envelope with Rs. 40/- Stamp affixed.
** Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- (for GEN/OBC) or Rs. 500/- (for SC/ST/PH)
** An Unattested Identical Passport Photo With Form number written on Its Back.(Do Not STAPLE/GLUE it with FORM)
** Xerox / Photocopy Of the Caste Certificate to which if you belong to.

Step 10: After Enclosing All Items in The A4 Envelope Send The Application.

2. Date of Entrance Examination : 07-05-2017
3. Announcement of Result: 26-05-2017
4. Date of Admission: 28-06-2017(For CITEE, CIDEE,CITBDAT) and 18-07-2017(For Lateral Entry)
