Project Technician, Driver Recruitment :

The following posts are to be filled purely on contract basis, in the non-institutional ad-hoc project titled ‘Targeted Intervention to expand and strengthen TB Control in tribal population and Strengthening implementation and operational research under RNTCP in India’ at Gujarat, implemented by this Institute.

Name of the post and Salary : Project Technician I / Lab Rs. 16,000/- p m
No of Position / Place of posting : 7 positions UR – 4; OBC – 2; SC – 1.
(a) 4 position to be posted at Dahod Dist;
(b) 1 position at Tapi Dist;
(c) 1 Position at Narmada Dist; and
(d) 1 Position at Dang District of Gujarat
Essential Qualifications :
High School or equivalent with successful completion of DMLT From a Government recognized board.
Knowledge of Gujarati language, is essential.
Desirable qualification : One year experience in relevant field.
Age : Not Exceeding 25 years. Age relaxation as per GOI rules.

(d) 1 Position at Dang District of Gujarat
Essential Qualifications : Matric/S.S.C or equivalent from recognized board with valid driving license issued by RTO of any State and authorized to drive Heavy Motor Vehicles (Goods & Passenger)
Knowledge of Gujarati language, is essential.
Age : Not Exceeding 25 years. Age relaxation as per GOI rules.
Walk in Interview : Monday, 10th April 2017
Date and Venue : District Tuberculosis Centre, Dahod Dist. Civil Hospital, Gujarat

Candidates fulfilling the required conditions may download the prescribed application form and submit on Monday, 10th April 2017, at District Tuberculosis Centre, Dahod Dist. Civil Hospital Gujarat at 9.00 A.M, to attend the walk-in-interview along with original certificate for age, qualification from Matriculation onwards and proof for certificates of experiences, caste certificate if any, with a colour passport size photograph along with attested copies of relevant certificates and a fees of Rs.100/- (drawn in favour of Director, NIRT, Chennai by way of DD from any Nationalized banks) (SC/ST, physically disabled candidates and women candidates, are exempted from payment of fees, subject to production of valid certificate. Late applicants will not be entertained.

** Knowledge in Hindi is a desirable qualification for the post
** The selected candidates will be posted to work in the places mentioned above.

** The appointment will be purely temporary and on contract basis on consolidated salary. The Appointee will not have any claim for a regular post in the Institute or in any Department ofGOI, or under NIRT/ICMR or continuation of his / her service in any other study.

** NIRT reserves the right not to fill up the above post without assigning any reason. The number of vacancy shown is only tentative and it may vary. No enquiry in this regard will be entertained.

** Mere possession of essential qualification and requisite experience will not entail any right for selection
** The salary for the same post may vary depending upon on the funding Agency.
** No DA/TA will be paid or attending the interview.
** The competent authority reserves the right to select the candidate or refuse any or all the candidates as its discretion without any reason.
