Essential :
1. M.Sc.,in Physics/Chemistry/Material Science with at least 55% Marks.

First Class M.E.,/M.Tech., in Nano Science & Technology/Material Science.
2. Ph.D:- The Research work should have involved extensive usage of HR-TEM with evidence of research publications in reputed International Journals with high impact factor. Desirable:
Minimum TWO years of post-doctoral experience involving operations (i.e.hands on experience) of HR-TEM in abroad/India.

1.M.Sc in above subjects
2. A minimum experience one year in operation and maintenance of Analytical instruments.

Educational Qualification & Other Requirements :
Essential : SSLC with regular ITI with NCVT certificate in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation trade.
Desirable: Two years of experience in working with Machine Tools, repair & servicing of Electro mechanical Pneumatic system.

Application Fee :
** SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen and Women Candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

** All other candidates shall submit a Demand Draft for Rs. 300/- drawn from any Nationalized bank in favour of Finance Officer, Pondicherry University payable at Puducherry. The DD should be drawn on or after the date of advertisement but before the last date prescribed for the receipt of the applications.

** Local candidates may remit the application fee in University A/C (New No.: 413264148 old No. 201) through Chalan at Indian Bank, Pondicherry University Branch
** Candidate shall write his/her Name, Post Code, Post Applied on the reverse side of the Demand Draft without fail.
** Application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Application for each post must be placed in a SEPARATE COVER and clearly written the name of the post/post code on the cover. The University shall not be responsible for any misplacement, omission etc. if two or more applications are put in one cover by the candidate.

A completed application form should have:
i) Duly filled in Application Form and Proforma for Certificate Verification.

ii) A Demand Draft for Rs. 300/-(except SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen and Women Candidates) drawn from any Nationilized Bank payable at Puducherry in favour of “Finance Officer, Pondicherry University”.
iii) Self Attested copies of :

b) SSLC/Matric or equivalent certificate
c) HSC/PUC/or equivalent certificate
d) Diploma/Degree Certificates
e) SC/ST/OBC/PwD certificate in appropriate format, if applicable,
f) Experience certificate, if any
g) NOC from the employer, if applicable
h) Recent proof for salary drawn, if any
i) Publications/event records/relvant documents, etc.
j) Any other relevant documents.
