Essential qualifications: Doctoral degree in the relevant field of Agriculture/Horticulture/Animal Science/Fisheries including relevant basic science with 8 years experience (excluding the period spent in obtaining Ph.D. Degree) in the relevant subject as Scientist/Lecturer/Extension Specialist or in an equivalent
Desirable: Specializations in implementing extension education programme.
Age limit: The maximum age limit is 47 yrs. on the date of closing. There shall be no age limit for AAU’s employees.

Essential qualifications:
1.Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/Fisheries Science as the case may be with OGPA 3.00 in 4.00 point scale or at least 6.50 in 10.00 scale.
2.55% marks or an equivalent OGPA of 3.00 in 4.00 point scale or 7.00 in 10.00 point scale at the Master’s Degree level from an Indian university or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.

Name of the post : Jr. Administrative Assistant.

Pay Scale: Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- + G.P. Rs. 3,300/-
Essential qualification :
(i)The minimum educational qualifications of the candidates shall be a degree in Arts/Science/Commerce of a recognized University.
(ii) Knowledge of Computer is desirable.

Submission of application forms:
i) Application form in prescribed format is to be submitted to the Registrar, AAU, Jorhat on or before May 17/2017.

ii) Application fee is to be deposited at Powerjyoti Account of the University lying with the State Bank of India, AAU Jorhat Branch (A/c No. 33019714091). For payment, a challan copy may be downloaded from the University website and fee-paid Challan copy may is to be enclosed along with the application form. The prescribed fee is Rs. 300/- in case of general candidates sand Rs. 150/- in case of SC/ST/PH candidates.

iii) Reservation shall be as per Government of Assam Rules.
iv) In service candidates must send their application through proper channel.
v) Applications received late and found incomplete will not be considered.
vi) A self addressed stamped (worth Rs.6/- envelope size 23 cm x 10 cm should be sent along with the application form.
