Bus Driver Recruitment :

Delhi Transport Corporation, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, invites applications from eligible candidates for engagement of bus drivers on short-term contract for a period of one year.

The interested candidates, who fulfill the eligibility conditions given below, may submit their applications, duly filled-in, in the prescribed format {in person only} upto 30.06.2017 (except Saturday, Sunday/Gazetted Holiday), at DTC H.Q., l.P. Estate, Near Indrapastha Metro Station, New Delhi.

The existing wage pattern for the contractual drivers is as follows which may be revised from time to time by the Corporation:

For City Services :
First 2250 Kms. :@Rs. 5/- Per Km
Beyond 2250 :@RS.6/- per Km
Upto 4500 Kms.
Plus maximum incentive of Rs. 3000/- per Month on performance basis subject to the applied conditions”

For Inter-state Services :
Up to 165 KM duty (per day): @ Rs.3/-Per KM Beyond 165 KM duty (per day): @ 2.50/- per KM (provided physical attendance of 20 days in a month) upto 4500 KM (maximum) in month Plus incentive maximum of Rs.300/- per month on performance basis subject to he applied conditions.

Eligibility conditions :
(i) The candidate should be 10th passed or equivalent from any recognized Board/Institute in India.

(ii) Holding a valid heavy Motor Vehicle License for at least 3 year old and the PSV badge issued by STA-Delhi(as per the criteria/ conditions applicable to commercial driver for PSV for issuance “Authorization Cards” for HMV drivers), on the closing date.

In case any candidate do not possess PSV badge issued by STA, Delhi, he can procure the same within one month from the date of issuance of orders of posting and the agreement will only be executed with them after submission of the PSV badge issued by STA-Delhi.

(iii) Maximum age limit is less than 50 years on the closing date given in the advertisement.

The applicant(s) should submit Photostat copy of all the documents along with the application(s). A person previously engaged in DTC as contractual driver but black-listed/terminated by DTC for any reason whatsoever need not apply.
