Date of Entrance Examination Sunday, 28th May, 2017

Examination Cities :
As per the initiative taken by Director, AIIMS, New Delhi, the competitive Entrance Examination of MBBS-2017 is being conducted through a Computer Based Test (CBT) [Online] only in 2017.

The examination shall be held on Sunday, 28th May, 2017. However in exceptional circumstances it may conduct in two days in two shifts.
The duration of the examination shall be 3½ hours (three hours and thirty minutes).
The Online (CBT) Entrance Examination will be conducted in two shifts:
Morning Shift / First shift : 09:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Afternoon Shift / Second shift : 03:00 PM to 06:30 PM
The examination centers are tentatively proposed in 171 cities all over India.

Therefore all candidates will be required to appear at CBT Online Entrance Examination, which will be conducted by the AIIMS, New Delhi on Sunday, the 28th May, 2017 in either of two shifts (9:00 AM to 12:30 PM & 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM) as allotted. The venue, time and shift of the examination will be communicated to the candidates in the Admit Card.

No candidate will be permitted to appear in the examination unless he/she holds a valid “Admit Card” issued by the Institute and a proof of their identification.
Appendix – I given below shows the list of cities where examination will be conducted in Online Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only.

Applicants should indicate his/her choice of city of Examination at the time filling the application form. The city chosen is subject to confirmation of payment of the examination fee.

The city of examination shall be allotted on count down basis subject to availability of nodes in respective city. The city of examination once chosen and allotted will not be changed and any request in this regard will not be entertained. Applicants should therefore select the choice of city with utmost care.

Applicants are advised to register themselves, make payment submit other information and submit their application format at the earliest without waiting for the last date, to avoid not getting the choice of city.

It may be noted that although AIIMS will make all efforts to ensure that the candidate is allotted a centre in the cities chosen by the applicant, due to circumstances such as lack of sufficient number of candidates, logistic, administrative and other reasons, an Examination Centre in another city may be allotted finally.

Applicants are therefore required to be prepared to appear for the examination in the Examination Centre allotted to them.
