Walk-in-interview/written test for the posts of Research Assistant (2), Field Workers (4), Field Assistant (6) at ICMR-Regional Medical Research Center, Bhubaneswar

Walk-in-Interview/written test is proposed to fill up the following purely temporary posts on consolidated salary under the ad-hoc research projects as detailed below.

Interested and eligible candidates may attend for the walk-in interview/written test along with their Bio-data with affixed passport sized photograph, original certificates relating to educational qualification, date of birth, working experiences for verification.

If the candidates are more than 30, written test and viva-voce will be conducted. Candidates should bring one set attested copies of all certificates and should report at RMRC,Bhubaneswar. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

I). Name of the project: Assessment of iodine status among pregnant women in selected districts of India – ICMR Task Force Study
1. Name of the post : Research Assistant
Number of post : One (OBC)
Emoluments : Rs.31,000/- per month (Fixed)
Age : 30 years
Qualifications and experience:
Essential: B.Sc. in biological sciences from a recognized university with three years working experience in the health related projects or MSc in life sciences/nutrition/MPH.
Desirable: Working experience with community health-related projects and knowledge of computer applications.
Date of interview/written test: 23.05.2017 at 9.30 a.m

2. Name of the post : Field Worker (Project Technician-III)
Number of post : Four (UR-2, SC-1 & OBC-1)
Emoluments : Rs.18,000/- per month (Fixed)
Age : 30 years
Qualifications and experience:
Essential: 12th pass in science subjects and two years diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or related subjects or one year DMLT plus one year required experience in a recognized organisation or two years field/laboratory experience* in Government recognized organisation.
*B.Sc. degree shall be treated as 3 years experience.
Desirable: Working experience in laboratory or health-related projects and knowledge of computer applications.

II). Name of the project: Prevalence of fluorosis in the community of selected districts of India and development of an appropriate intervention model for prevention and control of fluorosis – ICMR Task Force Study
1. Name of the post : Research Assistant
Number of post : One (UR)
Emoluments : Rs.31,000/- per month (Fixed)
Age : 30 years
Qualifications and experience:
Essential: B.Sc. in biological sciences from a recognized university with three years working experience in the field of health projects or MSc in life sciences/nutrition/MPH.
Desirable: Working experience with community health-related projects and knowledge of computer applications.

2. Name of the post : Field Assistant (Project Technician-II)
Number of post : Six (SC-2, OBC-1, UR-3)
Emoluments : Rs.17,000/- per month (Fixed)
Age : 28 years
Qualifications and experience:
Essential: High school *or equivalent with five years of experience in laboratory/Field work from a Government institution or recognized institute. *+2/Intermediate with science subjects and B.Sc. shall be treated as equivalent to 2 and 3 years experience respectively.
Desirable: Working experience with communities and knowledge of computer applications.
Date of interview/written test: 25.05.2017 at 9.30 a.m

Age relaxation is admissible in respect of SC/ST/OBC candidate, retrenched government employees, departmental candidate (including Projects) and Ex-servicemen in accordance with the instruction issued by the central government from time to time.

Age concession to the extent of service rendered in other research projects will be also is admissible for experience and skilled persons can also be considered for deserving candidates on the recommendation of Selection Committee.
