WALK-IN-WRITTEN TEST at ICMR-Vector Control Research Centre, Field Station, Hati Line, Near Collectorate, Koraput – 764 020 Odisha

Candidates who possess qualifications mentioned below may attend the WALK-IN-WRITTEN TEST which will be held between 10-00 AM and 12.00 NOON on 28.06.2017 for the four posts of MULTI-TASKING STAFF (two posts under Unreserved Category, one post under Reserved category of OBC and one post under Reserved category of SC) under the project entitled “Phase III evaluation of Deltamethrin 62.5 SC-PE long lasting indoor residual spraying against Anopheles fluviatilis and Anopheles culicifacies, two major vectors of malaria, in India” for a period of one year.

The headquarters of the selected candidates will be Laxmipur, Koraput District, Odisha State.

1. Educational Qualification : 10th Pass/High School/Matric/equivalent from a Recognized Board
2. Nature of duties : Activities related to insecticide spraying, Mosquito collection in the field, laboratory assistance in processing the field collected samples and maintenance of field and laboratory equipment.
3. Consolidated Salary : Rs.18,000/- per month (Nett.)
4. Age limit : Between 18 and 25 years of age as on the date of Walk-in -Written Test (Age relaxation for reserved categories will be as per DoPT rules).
5. Venue : Vector Control Research Centre, Field Station, Hati Line, Near Collectorate, Koraput-764020, Odisha.
6. Duration of posting : One year

OTHER INFORMATION: Application
1. Age relaxation is applicable only to the post under reserved category, as per Govt. of India norms.
2. Qualification and experience should be from an organization of repute.
3. Mere fulfilling the essential qualification does not guarantee for the selection.
4. Persons already in regular time scale service under any Government Department/Organization are not eligible to apply.

5. Candidates who wish to appear for the Walk-in-Written Test can download the application format given in the Website of Vector Control Research Centre (vcrc.res.in).

Duly filled in application along with the self attested copies of certificates in proof of Date of birth, Educational Qualification (Certificate/ Statement of marks), Experience as mentioned under essential qualification and Community (SC/ST/ OBC)certificate must be submitted at the time of Walk-in-Written-Test.

6. No travelling allowance will be paid to the candidate for appearing the Walk-in-written test.
7. The selected candidates will have no claim for regular appointments in any ICMR Institutes/Centres for continuation of his/her services in any other project.

8. Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidate or bringing political or other outside influence with regard to selection shall be a disqualification and such candidates will not be entertained.

9. The decision of the Director, VCRC, Puducherry is final in this regard.
