Depot Manager, Supervisor Recruitment :

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the posts of Depot Manager, Assistant Depot Manager and Depot Supervisor in the West Bengal State Beverages Corporation Ltd.

The number of posts along with minimum qualification, experience, age limit and pay scale are as follows:

Name of Post : Depot Manager
No. of posts : 25
Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Commerce or Arts or Information Technology or Business Administration or Engineering from recognized University or Institution of repute.
Experience :
(i) must have minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing any warehouse dealing with beverages /any other goods; and
(ii) must have Diploma or Certificate in Computer Application of minimum six months duration from recognized University an institution of repute.
Age limit : 18 years to 39 years (relaxable by 5 years for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes or by 3 years for Other Backward Class (Group A and Group B).
Pay Scale : Pay Band No.3 i.e. 7100-37600 with grade pay Rs. 3900 plus other emoluments prescribed in this scale.

Name of Post : Assistant Depot Manager
No. of posts : 25
Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Commerce or Arts or Information Technology or Business Administration or Engineering from recognized University or Institution of repute.
Experience :
(i) must have minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing any warehouse dealing with beverages /any other goods; and
(ii) must have Diploma or Certificate in Computer Application of minimum six months’ duration from recognized University an institution of repute.
Age limit : 18 years to 39 years (relaxable by 5 years for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes or by 3 years for Other Backward Class (Group A and Group B).
Pay Scale : Pay Band No.3 i.e. 7100-37600 with grade pay Rs 3600 plus other emoluments prescribed in this scale.

Name of Post : Depot Supervisor
No. of posts : 25
Qualifications : Higher Secondary or equivalent from any recognized Board or an institute of repute.
Experience :
(i) must have passed forklift skills test (if applicable);
(ii)must have experience of working in a warehouse environment;
(iii) preferable driving a forklift and working with racking systems and loading or unloading pallets; and
(iv) experience of working in a team environment (e.g., cooperating with co-workers, joint problem solving, etc.).
Age limit : 18 years to 39 years (relaxable by 5 years for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes or by 3 years for Other Backward Class (Group A and Group B).
Pay Scale : Pay Band No.2 i.e. 5400-25200 with grade pay Rs. 2900 plus other emoluments prescribed in this scale.

Applications should be submitted online by visiting the website of the Excise Directorate, GoWB at excise.wb.gov.in. The last date of submitting online applications for the above mentioned posts is 07.07.2017 till 14:00 hrs.

The selection by direct recruitment to the above posts shall be done through a written competitive examination or test followed by an interview. The examination or test shall be conducted by the Selection Committee constituted under the rules for this purpose.
