Name of the Post: Regulatory Officer (Technical)
Number of Posts: 3 (Three)

Educational Qualification:
A) Essential:
Degree in Electrical / Power Engineering from a recognized University
B) Desirable:
Post Graduate in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems or MBA in (Financial Management / Power Management) from any AICTE approved University / Institute, will be given preference.

Experience:
A) Essential:
Minimum 3 years experience in Power Sector / Electricity Utility / Regulatory Commission;
B) Desirable:
Candidates having experience in Generation, Transmission, Distribution, Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, and ability in Economic Analysis, Modeling and Statistical techniques, will be given preference.

Age: – Maximum 35 years as on date of publication of Advt.
Remuneration: Rs. 30,000/- per month (Consolidated all inclusive)

Other Conditions:
** The candidates who will be appointed as “Regulatory Officer (Technical)” shall not have any right/claim or lien for appointment on regular basis on the establishment of the Commission.

** The Application strictly in conformity with the Format must be typed in English on a good quality ”White A4 size” paper and duly affixed with a signed latest passport size photograph.

** Application with full details should reach either by post or by courier to the Secretary, MERC, World Trade Centre, Centre No.1, 13th Floor, Cuffe Parade, Colaba, Mumbai – 400 005 on or before 15 / 12 / 2016 in prescribed format. The Application either by e-mail or by fax will not be entertained.

** The Number of posts mentioned above may change as per requirements.
** MERC reserves the right to reject any or all the applications without assigning any reason whatsoever.
** The eligible candidates will be shortlisted and called for Written Test/Interview.

** Selected candidates will be initially engaged for One Year on contract basis. The contract will be extendable for further periods on satisfactory services rendered and by mutual understanding/agreement.

** No traveling expense will be reimbursed by the MERC for attending the Written Test / Interview.
