The reporting time for the Stage-I-Preliminary Test written examination is 8.00 am. The Stage-I examination will commence at 09.00 am. Duration of the test will be one-hour & will comprise of Multiple choice questions.

The syllabus for the said test will include Mathematics, Science and General Awareness. The result of the Stage-I test will be declared on the same day after 1 hour of the examination.

Those candidates qualifying in Stage-I written examination have to undergo document verification(reporting time will be 11:30 am) before appearing for Stage-II examination to be conducted on the same day.

If it is found during the verification of documents that the candidate is not eligible for the post applied for as per the advertisement their candidature will be cancelled. The reporting time for the Stage-II-Advanced Test written examination is 2.00 pm and the examination will commence at 03.00 pm.

Syllabus for Stage-II examination will be Trade based. Candidates qualifying for Stage-II examination have to report at 02.00 pm for written examination. Candidates taking concession under PWD category will be eligible for additional 20 mins per hour for written examination.

You are required to bring the admit card with printout of on-line application along with all your original certificates, testimonials and one set of self attested photo copies of certificates in support of your academic qualifications, date of birth, experience, caste certificate (Non-Creamy Layer Certificate in the case of OBC candidates) etc.

It will not be possible to permit you to attend the Written Test if the original certificates in support of your academic qualifications, date of birth, experience, caste certificate, Disability certificate(as applicable) etc are not brought.

You are also required to bring ‘Institution copy’ of the challan (payment made before the closing date of the receipt of online application i.e., on or before 13.12.2016) and any one of the Government issued original photo ID card viz. Driving License, Pan Card, Voter ID.

Candidates are required to bring the caste certificate in the format prescribed by Central Government and the format can be downloaded from the website recruit.barc.gov.in (Home Page – Job application – Download Forms).

Instructions for candidates :
Admit card-cum-call letter for SCREENED-IN candidates is NOT issued yet. It will be issued soon and the information regarding the same will be intimated to the candidates through BARC website and SMS. No calls/E-mail will be entertained in this regard. Stage I & Stage II written examinations will be held on the same day.

Result of Stage -1 exam will be declared and displayed on the notice boards of the examination venues on the same day & those qualified in Stage -1 test will only be allowed to appear for the Stage -2 exam.

NAMES OF THE CANDIDATES APPEARING IN THE SCREENED-OUT LIST ARE NOT MEETING THE REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AS PER THE ADVERTISEMENT AND HENCE ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION.
