Recruitment of Medical Officer, Staff Nurse :

Notice for walk-in-interview for engaging in the following posts purely on contractual basis, the details of which are furnished below:

ELIGIBILITY FOR APPLICATION :
(i) The applicant must be a citizen of India and should be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
(ii) The age of the applicant at the time of engagement shall not normally exceed 50 years, and in case of specialist doctors it should not exceed 65 years.

(iii) The applicant must possess minimum Educational Qualification as follows:-
Minimum Qualification :
M.O. (Specialist) – Post Graduation in respective discipline.
G.D.M.O – MBBS with 1 year Housestaffship in any Govt. Medical College.
Sister-in-charge ,Gr.-I (ii) – B.Sc Nursing/Promoted Grade-I Sister-in-Charge
Staff Nurse Gr.-II – General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)

PROCEDURE OF SELECTION :
1) Medical Officer (SPECIALIST): Selection Criteria
The preparation of merit list will be made as per the following procedure.
Total 100 marks: 90 marks will be kept for academic records, professional experience, publication and 10 marks for interview.

2) General Duty Medical Officer ( G.D.M.O): Selection Criteria

5) The contractual service condition will be as per existing rules and regulations of Govt. of West Bengal.

6) All efforts will be made to complete the selection process as per above mentioned schedule. However, in case of extreme unavoidable circumstances this date may be deferred and the same shall be communicated through Kolkata Police website kolkatapolice.gov.in and KPRB website
