Walk in Interview for the post of Project Assistant (Biotechnology) on 30.06.2017 at 12:00 PM.

Project Assistant (Biotechnology) : One (1) under DST-GOI supported project ‘Prenatal screening to assess prevalence of congenital malformations in Punjab: Prevention based approach for improvement of reproductive health of SC women’.

Essential Qualification & Experience: Graduation in Science with minimum 1 year experience in the relevant field or Post Graduation in Science.
Desirable: Work experience pertaining to techniques in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Microbiology.
Job description: The candidate would be required to undertake Biochemical profiling of samples for prenatal testing and facilitate genetic counseling as well as awareness programs for various stakeholders.
Tenure: The post will be filled purely on contractual basis for a period of one year (likely to be extended based on performance).
Salary: Rs 12000/- per month (consolidated) (including HRA & EPF)
Age: 45 years

Candidates having requisite qualifications and experience may come for Walk in Interview on 30.06.2017 at 1200 Noon with duly filled prescribed proforma available at website: pscst.gov.in giving full bio-data accompanied by a recent passport photograph, attested copies of testimonials and demand draft of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) drawn in favor of Punjab State Council for Science & Technology payable at Chandigarh.

No fee will be payable by Scheduled Caste candidates. If required, written test will be conducted before the interview. The Council reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason.
