HURL is mandated to set up gas based Urea-Ammonia plants at Gorakhpur (UP), Barauni (Bihar) and Sindri (Jharkhand).

The projected capacity of individual urea plants at these locations is likely to be 1.2 million tonne MTA and besides this, the Company is also exploring possibility of producing some related basic chemicals which will accelerate the pace of industrial development in these States.

Job Description and Responsibilities:
HURL is offering a very challenging opportunity for the right candidate. Managing Director will be the Chief Executive of the Company and accountable to its Board of Directors.

His responsibility will include development, construction, operations and marketing of the products of all the three plants. Commissioning of the plants within the budget and timeline is the main responsibility.

The ideal candidate would be having adequate experience of heading a Urea producing company and experience in handling major chemical plants/complex is desirable.

Age:
Eligible candidates shall not be more than 58 years, as on01.12.2016. Age of superannuation will be 60 years.

Employment Status:
Applicants from the Government Services should be working at present in the HAG pay scale of 67000-79000 (Pre-revised) or equivalent. The Government officers will be considered only on immediate absorption basis and will be required to give ‘No Objection Certificate’ at the time of interview.

Candidates from CPSEs should be full-time functional Directors on the Board of the ‘Schedule-A’ Company.
