Project Associate, Technician Recruitment :

Applications are invited for the various temporary posts for the project on “Implementation of costal management information system (CMIS) in the states of Tamilnadu, Kerala and UT of Puducherry” in the Department of Ocean Engineering.

DURATION: The project duration is 2 years. The appointment will be initially given for one year and renewable on yearly basis.

SENIOR SCIENTIST (Post-Doctoral Fellow) (No. of Post-1)
QUALIFICATION: Ph.D. (Civil/Coastal/ Ocean Engg/ Oceanography/ related discipline)
EXPERIENCE: Two years of coastal field monitoring is preferred. More experienced applicants will be considered for the next level position of Principal Project Officer.
EMOLUMENTS: On a starting Consolidated pay in the range of Rs.27,500 – Rs.60,000/-p.m.

PROJECT OFFICER (No. of Post-I)
QUALIFICATION: M.Tech / M.E. (Civil/Ocean Engg/ related discipline. 7.0 CGPA. Candidates with experience in Coastal field monitoring or will be given preference.
B.Tech / B.E (Civil/Ocean Engg/ related discipline. 7.0 CGPA and above with a minimum of five year experience in Coastal field monitoring or related studies).
EMOLUMENTS: On a starting Consolidated pay in the range of Rs.22,000 – 40,000/-p.m.

PROJECT ASSOCIATE (No. of Posts: 3)
QUALIFICATION: B.Tech / B.E(Civil/ Coastal/ Ocean Engg./ Physical oceanography/ any other relevant discipline with 6.5 CGPA and above)
EXPERIENCE: Coastal field monitoring/data analysis experience is preferred and higher initial pay will be fixed for relevant experienced candidates.
EMOLUMENTS: On a starting Consolidated pay in the range of Rs.16,500-35,000/-p.m.

PROJECT TECHNICIAN (No. of Posts: 3)
QUALIFICATION: Diploma in Civil/ Coastal/ Ocean Engg./ Physical oceanography/ any other relevant discipline with 6.0 CGPA and above.
EXPERIENCE: Handling of instruments/field monitoring will be preferred. Higher initial pay will be fixed for relevant experienced candidates.
EMOLUMENTS: On a starting Consolidated pay in the range of Rs.9,000-30,000/-p.m.

PROJECT ASSISTANT (No. of Posts: 2)
QUALIFICATION: Bachelor Degree in Science/ Arts with work experience
EXPERIENCE: Computer based secretarial skills.
EMOLUMENTS: On a starting Consolidated pay in the range of Rs.9,000 -30,000/-p.m.

PROJECT ATTENTANT (No. of Posts: 2)
QUALIFICATION: Pass in 10th standard with work experience for 3 years
EXPERIENCE: Assisting survey team/field monitoring.
EMOLUMENTS: On a starting Consolidated pay in the range of Rs.8,000 – 15,000/-p.m.
