This is notified for information of all candidates who appeared in Written Examination for selection of Assistant Teachers in Secondary and Higher Secondary Levels held on 27th November, 2016 and 04th December, 2016 respectively, that the Model Answers are uploaded in the official website of the Commission (westbengalssc.com) for their opinion through wbcsscinfo[at]gmail.com.

The last date of submission of opinion regarding the Model Answers is 19-12-2016 (05 :00 p.m.)
Further mentioned that the differences of opinion will be judged by the subject experts and the decision of the subject experts will be treated as final.
“Paint”in “Paint the house green” is a mono transitive verb because the verb has only one subject which is “house” while the adjective “green”is the complement. So the option A of question no. 48 is the correct one.
In the poem WILD SWANS AT COOLE by W.B.Yeats the poet speaker said “nineteenth autumn had come upon me till I first made my count”. If we say:in1997we observed the 51st Inpendence Day of India it suggests that India had won freedom 50 years ago. So the poet revisited the coole after18 years. So in question no.25 option B is the correct one.
Each ofthe lines given in question no.54 is clearly divided in four foots.So the lines as given in the answer key are not written in iambic trimeter. These are composed in iambic tetra meter.
