Procurement Officer Recruitment :

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position under World Bank assisted ICZM Project, West Bengal as given below. The project period will be upto December 2017.

The position for the ICZM Project, West Bengal will be filled up contractually till December’ 2017:
Designation : Procurement Officer
Age Requirement : Age should be less than 62 years as on 01.01.2017
Educational Qualification : BE/B.Tech/MBA/CA/ICWA with MBA (two years duration) from any recognised University.
Desired :
Knowledge in application of World Bank Procurement Guidelines and Consultant Selection Procedures will be an added advantage
Experience : Minimum 8 years of experience in Public Procurement in Government Organisations or experience in large private organisations

Duty / Responsibility :
Preparing Bidding Documents as per the World Bank Guidelines for Works and Goods and advertisement of Procurement Notices
Preparation and Invitation of bids as per approved bidding documents for ICB, NCB & Shopping, bid evaluation & finalisation and award of contracts.
Contract Management during execution including revision / modification, post-procurement follow-up
Preparing/revising Procurement Plan / procurement schedules and Cost estimates.

i. Persons working in Government / Public Sector Undertakings /Autonomous Organizations should submit the applications through proper channel.

iii. The envelope containing the application should bear the advertisement number and name of the post applied for.
iv. Applications received after due date, unsigned applications, applications without mentioning the post for which applied, applications not followed by the copy through proper channel (wherever applicable), and application incomplete in any respect, will not be considered.
v. It may be noted that if, at any stage, it is discovered that an attempt has been made by the applicant to wilfully conceal misrepresent the facts, his / her candidature will be summarily rejected or his / her employment will be terminated.
