Recruitment of Tradesman Trainee :

Applications are invited for 06 (Six) posts of Tradesman Trainees to be filled under the provisions of Section 8 (3) of Apprentices Act 1961.

The trades for engagement of Tradesman Trainees are indicated below :
1 MACHINIST 2
2 FITTER 1
3 ELECTRICIAN 2
4 CARPENTER 1

Age Below : 28
Monthly Stipend : Rs.8000/-

Qualification : ITI i.e. National Trade Certificate (NTC) with minimum 60% marks awarded by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in the relevant trade.

Post/s for general category (Unreserved) – SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates can also apply.

The selection of the candidates for the above trades will be on the basis of Marks in ITI and Written Test (50% each). Applications will be accepted ONLY ON-LINE.

Note :
(i) Candidates of other Trades need not apply.
(ii) Selected candidate(s) has to enter an apprenticeship training contract with TIFR and submit the same to RDAT (Regional Directorate of Apprenticeship Training) for registration.
(iii) Only fresh candidates will be considered for engagement. (iv) Candidates applying for Fitter Trade should have passed ITI – 2 years course.
(v) Those candidates who have passed Apprenticeship exam need not apply.

i. On-Line applications must be submitted by November 3, 2016.

ii. NOTE : The candidates are required to produce following original documents with copies at the time of recruitment process :
a. Printout of online application form.
b. Identity Proof (Adhar Card / Election Card / PAN Card / Passport / Driving License).
c. Date of birth/Proof of age.
d. Educational Qualification (all mark sheets and certificates).
e. Conduct certificates from two respectable persons.

ii. The Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for recruitment process to a reasonable limit. Mere fulfilling the essential and desirable qualifications will not entitle an applicant to be called for recruitment process.
