Recruitment of Marine Engineer :
Applications are invited from the Indian Nationals for filling up of one vacancy of Dy. Marine Engineer(Class-I) un-reserved on scale of pay Rs. 20600-46500/- in PPT.

01] Recruitment Rule:
(i) MOT II Class Motor Certificate issued under Merchant Shipping Act, 1958.
(ii) 2 years experience as independent watch keeping Engineer on broad and foreign going ship.
Age: 35 years as on 01.10.2016 ( upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. guide line)
02] The emoluments contains initial Basic Pay + IDA 115.34% of the Basic Pay as on 01.09.2016, which is quarterly revised as per Consumer Price Index and (iii) cafeteria allowance 47%. (Total emolument will be Rs.54,042/- (approximately).
03] Accommodation: Unfurnished “C” type quarters on concessional rate shall be provided as per availability.
04] Other benefits: Leave Encashment, Free Medical Treatment for self and family, CPF etc.
05] The contributory pension scheme is applicable.
06] Educational facilities up-to Graduation in Science, Arts & Commerce stream in College situated in the Port Township are available including Central School, English & Oriya Medium School.
07] Filling up of the post is subject to Ministry’s approval and PPT reserves the right to cancel or modify this advertisement at any time.
