Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for the position of JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF) in a National Board of Higher Mathematics (NBHM), Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), India funded research project sanction No. 2/48(14)/2016/NBHM)(R.P.)(R&D II/14608 in the Department of Mathematics, VNIT, Nagpur, Maharashtra.

Title of the project: Design, analysis and implementation of numerical methods for doubly singular boundary value problems.
Duration of the project: Initial appointment will be for six months, which is extendable up to three years subject to satisfactory performance.
Qualification: Candidates should have a minimum of 60 percent marks (First class) in M.Sc./M.A. Mathematics.
Fellowship: Rs. 25000/- per month + HRA for first two years and Rs. 28000/- per month + HRA for third year for candidate with GATE/NET qualification. Candidate without GATE/NET qualification will get fellowship as per norms of the institute.
Note: The position is purely temporary. All other terms and conditions as per NBHM and VNIT, Nagpur.

Incomplete applications will be rejected. Mere fulfillment of educational qualifications does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. The short-listed candidates will be intimated by e-mail about the details of interview date, time and venue.
Candidates will have to attend the interview at their own cost. TA/DA is not admissible for attending the interview or for joining the post.
