Recruitment for Boiler Attendant for Raichur Thermal Power Station & Bellary Thermal Power Stations

KPCL invites applications for the following post exclusively for its Thermal units and other upcoming Thermal Power Stations located in Raichur and Bellary Districts.

A. Classification of Reservation for Hyderabad Karnataka region under Article 371[J]:
Post : BOILER ATTENDANT GRADE-II
Qualification :
i] SSLC/ equivalent (Regular Course)
&
ii] Boiler Attendant Grade-II Certificate of Competency test conducted by Govt. of Karnataka or Equivalent.
&
iii] 2 years’ experience in operation & maintenance of water tube boiler in a reputed industry.
Note: SSLC/10th Std (Bridge course) through external or Open University or Open School is not eligible.
Total No. of Posts : 68

B. Classification of Reservation for other than Hyderabad Karnataka region under Article 371[J]:
Post : BOILER ATTENDANT GRADE-II
Qualification :
i] SSLC/ equivalent (Regular Course)
&
ii] Boiler Attendant Grade-II Certificate of Competency test conducted by Govt. of Karnataka or Equivalent.
&
iii] 2 years’ experience in operation & maintenance of water tube boiler in a reputed industry.
Note: SSLC/10th Std (Bridge course) through external or Open University or Open School is not eligible.
Total No. of Posts : 17

Age Limit:
The candidates should have attained the age of 18 years. The maximum age limit shall be as follows:

Selection procedure:
Selection will be only on the basis of total percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination i.e., SSLC or Equivalent.
Select list based on merit in qualifying examination will be published in the website karnatakapower.com.

Submission of application:
The On-line application shall be submitted in the prescribed format available in KPCL website karnatakapower.com. Application in any other form will not be considered.

Application Fee (Non-refundable):
a] Rs.200/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST/Cat-I candidates) plus postal service charges of Rs.15/-.

b] Nominal fees of Rs.50/-(Rs.35/- processing charges+Rs.15/- postal service charges) for :
i. Ex-servicemen;
ii. Children of Defence Personnel killed or disabled in action;
iii. Persons with Disability (Divyanga)

Mode of payment:
** Application fee is payable through any Post Office branch which is computerized, in the State of Karnataka. A format of challan is generated after filling up of online application in website and the same can be downloaded and amount remitted in Post Office.

** Payment of fee by any other mode like Cheque/DD/Money order/Postal order etc. will not be entertained.
