Trainee Electrical Officer Recruitment :

Applications are invited from a Indian national Males and Females for selection of Trainee Electrical Officer and Electrical Officer

The eligibility criteria are as under. Also, the candidates should be in possession of the documents mentioned below.
(A) Electrical Officers:
(a) Min. six months’ sailing experience as Electrical Officer.

(b) (i) Retired Indian Navy personnel with B.E. /Diploma awarded by the Indian Navy, and has sailed as chief artificer (power side only ), and is in possession of DG approved ETO course certificate, or,
(ii) Candidates with B.E/B.TECH/Diploma in Electrical and Electrical & Electronics, and in possession of DG approved ETO course certificate.

(c) The age limit for the candidates for(A) (b) (i) will be maximum of 45 yrs and (A) (b) (ii) as 30 yrs on the date of interview.

(B) Trainee Electrical Officers:
(i) Retired Indian Navy personnel with B.E. /Diploma awarded by the Indian Navy, and has sailed as chief artificer (power side only ), and is in possession of DG approved ETO course certificate, or,

(ii) Candidates with B.E/B.TECH/Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics, and in possession of DG approved ETO course certificate, without sailing experience.
** Must be in a possession of valid Indian CDC, Passport, Pan Card, and INDOS No.
** Must have completed all required STCW-2010 courses including STSDSD from DGS approved institutes.
** ETO course certificate should be from Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) approved institute.

(iii) Candidates with B.E/B.TECH/Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics, and not in a possession of DG approved ETO course certificate, CDC, INDOS No, STSDSD and STCW-2010 course may also apply.

This group of candidates have to complete four months ETO course & STCW-2010 course from DG approved Institute at their own cost and report back to us within six months for on board training with all required certificate.

Rs.1000/- for General (UR) and OBC candidates and Rs.500/- for SC & ST candidates, (excluding NEFT bank charges).

Before filling application form on-line candidates must Deposit the application fees. National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) and obtain UTR/transaction id number from respective bank immediately after fees deposited.

HOW TO APPLY :
A. Applications will be accepted online only from 20.01.2017 to 20.02.2017. Candidates have to log on to shipindia.com/careers/fleet-personnel for the important instructions for filling the online application are:-

B. Eligible candidates have to apply online only. It is mandatory that the candidates should have a valid e-mail id and mobile number while applying in order to facilitate faster communication. All future communications and correspondence will be through emails, SMS and our official website only.

C. Before filling application on-line, candidates must deposit application fees in the prescribed bank and obtain NEFT UTR/BANK TRANSACTION NUMBER from the respective bank. The details like amount of fees deposited, NEFT UTR/BANK TRANSACTION NUMBER, Bank Name, Branch and Date of deposit needs to be entered in the application Form.

D. Detailed instructions for filling the application form will be given under the “General Instructions”. Candidates should read all instructions before filling application form carefully.

E. Before applying, candidates should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility criteria and norms mentioned in this advertisement.

F. Multiple/Duplicate applications will not be accepted and the candidature of candidate shall be rejected in the event it comes to the knowledge of Corporation, irrespective of fact, whether the person had appeared in the examination.

On saving on-line application with registration number, candidate has to download the printout of application form.

Candidates are required to paste a recent passport size photo in the space indicated, put his/her signature in the place and send the same application form along with bank transaction receipt and Xerox copies of SSC/HSC Passing Certificate for birth proof, All semester mark sheets, Degree Certificate, Caste certificate, OBC Certificate.

The application form with all attached documents must be sent by Ordinary-Post/Courier/Speed-Post/Registered-Post (No Hand delivery will be accepted) to the following address super scribing the envelope as:
