Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) a joint venture of Govt. of India & Govt. of Kerala plans to provide training opportunities to the fresh pass outs under its “KMRL TRAINING SCHEME FOR ENGINEERING/NON ENGINEERING GRADUATES/DIPLOMA & ITI QUALIFIED CANDIDATES” as detailed below.
Who Can Apply:
The scheme would be open to brilliant students in the age group of 18-25 years and who have passed ENGINEERING/NON ENGINEERING DEGREE/DIPLOMA/ITI in the streams mentioned below and passed out not earlier than 2014. The Candidates who had secured minimum 60% marks in the qualifying examinations will only be eligible to apply.

Graduate Trainee (Electrical) 6
Graduate Trainee (Mechanical) 2
Graduate Trainee (Electronics & Communication) 4
Graduate Trainee (IT) 2
Graduate Trainee (Civil) 5
Trainee (HR) 1 MBA (HR) Regular with 60% marks
Trainee (CC) 1 MSW Regular with 60% marks
Trainee (Finance) 4 CA/ICWA (Final/Inter)/CS (Final/Inter)
Trainee (Legal) 1 LLB (3/5) Regular with 60% marks
Technician Trainee (Electrical) 8 Diploma (Regular) passed with minimum 60% marks
Technician Trainee (Mechanical) 2
Technician Trainee (Electronics) 10
Technician Trainee (Civil) 10
Trade Trainee (Electrician) 9
Trade Trainee (Fitter) 3
Trade Trainee (Electronics) 4
Trade Trainee (Civil) 7
Qualification :
Graduate Trainee – BE/BTech (Regular) passed with minimum 60% marks
Trainee (HR) – MBA (HR) Regular with 60% marks
Trainee (CC) – MSW Regular with 60% marks
Trainee (Finance) – CA/ICWA (Final/Inter)/CS (Final/Inter)
Trainee (Legal) – LLB (3/5) Regular with 60% marks
Technician Trainee – Diploma (Regular) passed with minimum 60% marks
Trade Trainee – ITI trade passed with minimum 60% marks
The candidates selected for training will be paid stipend as under:
Trade / Discipline Stipend (all inclusive)
Engineering Graduates Rs.10,000/- per month
Non Engineering Graduates Rs.10,000/- per month
Diploma Holders Rs.7,500/- per month
ITI Holders Rs.5,000/- per month
General Conditions:
** In no case the candidates undergoing training/completed training, will have the right to claim permanency on the job at KMRL.
** The number of candidates proposed to be trained as shown above is tentative and may undergo change.
** Management reserves the right to cancel this notification at any of the stages.
** Acceptance or rejection of application of the candidates to be trained will be at the sole discretion of the Management. Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
** A recent photograph and signature of the candidate are to be uploaded.
** Verification of credentials such as age, qualification, caste etc. will be done at the time of selection.
