Applications are invited for the Project post of ” X-Ray Technologist & Field Supervisor ”

The following posts are to be filled purely on contract basis, in the non-institutional ad-hoc project titled ‘Targeted Intervention to expand and strengthen TB Control in tribal population and Strengthening implementation and operational research under RNTCP in India’ implemented by this Institute.

Name of the post : X-Ray Technologist
Salary : Rs. 16,560/- per month
No of Position/Place of post :
4 positions UR – 2; OBC – 1; SC – 1.
3 position to be posted at Dahod and 1 position at Tapi District of Gujarat
Essential Qualifications :
(i) 10+2 or equivalent examination passed with Science subjects from a recognized board; and
(ii) Radiographer’s/X-ray Technologist course of minimum one year duration (including in-field training in diagnostic radiology) passed from a recognized institution.
Desirable Qualification : One year working experience with X-Ray Unit
Broad Scope of Work : The candidate will have to travel in the Mobile TB Diagnostic Van and will perform X-Rays and Sputum Microscopy in the tribal population among those with cough and other symptoms suggestive of TB. The position involves daily travel to remote villages in identified Districts

Name of the post : Field Supervisor
Salary : Rs.20,000/- per month
No of Position/Place of post : 2 positions OBC – 1; SC – 1. To be posted at Dahod and Narmada Districts of Gujarat
Essential Qualifications : Graduate from a recognised University.
Desirable Qualification :
Working experience in trial area .
Degree/Diploma in Public Health or equivalent. 2 years experience in National TB Program OR 2 years experience in field based Projects.
Broad Scope of Work : The candidate has to co-ordinate project activities in their respective sites. The position involves daily travel to remote villages in identified Districts.

(Civil Hospital) Gujarat at 9.00 A.M Gujarat, to attend the interview along with original certificate for age, qualification from Matriculation onwards and proof for certificates of experiences, caste certificate if any, with a colour passport size photograph along with attested copies of relevant certificates and a fees of Rs.100/- (drawn in favour of Director, NIRT, Chennai by way of DD from any Nationalized banks) (SC/ST, physically disabled candidates (subject to production of valid certificate) women candidates are exempted from payment of fees.
