Senior Resident/ Tutor Recruitment :

Applications in the prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates for the posts of Senior Residents (SR)/ Tutors in the following disciplines at Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College and Hospital, Koraput.

The applicant must have acquired the required qualification for the post applied for on or before 14/03/ 2017.

The engagement shall be purely temporary and renewable on year to year basis for a maximum period of three years subject to satisfactory performance. The posts are non-practicing.

The in-service departmental candidates will be entitled for salary (usual regular pay and grade pay) and the direct candidates will be paid consolidated amount of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) per month or as decided by the government of Odisha.

VACANCY:
The vacancy position below is tentative and subject to change on the basis of administrative exigencies at the discretion of the authorities.
a. Tutor: Anatomy (3), Physiology (3), Biochemistry (3), Pharmacology (2), Pathology (4), Microbiology (3), FMT (2) & Community Medicine (3).

b. Sr. Resident: General Medicine (4), Pulmonary Medicine (1), Dermatology (1), Psychiatry (1), Paediatric(2), General surgery (4), Orthopaedic (2), E.N.T. (1), Ophthalmologist (1), Radio diagnosis (2), Anaesthesiology (4), O & G (2), Community Medicine (Lady Medical Officer – 2) & Dentistry (1)

RESERVATION:
The prevalent reservation policy of the state government will be applicable. In case of non availability of suitable candidates in any reserved category the same post will be filled up from the unreserved category.

AGE:
i. He / she must not be above 35 years of age as on 1st January of the recruitment year 2017. In case of in-service candidate the maximum age limit will be relaxed for a maximum period of 5 years.

ii. The upper age limit will be relaxed by 5 years in respect of the candidate belonging to SEBC / Woman/

ST/SC / Ex. Serviceman & for 10 years in respect of candidate belonging to PH (Physically Challenged category) as on 1st January of the recruitment year 2017. The same candidate cannot avail relaxation on more than one criterion simultaneously.

QUALIFICATION:
a. A candidate must possess a MD/ MS/ MDS degree in concerned discipline for Senior Resident post in clinical departments of broad specialties.

b. In case of Pre/ Para clinical/ Dentistry disciplines, MBBS/ BDS is the basic qualification for the post of Tutor; however, preference will be given to MD/ MS/ MDS degree in concerned discipline.

c. In case of non-availability of sufficient number of MBBS candidates, M.Sc. degree in Medical Anatomy/ Medical Physiology/ Medical Biochemistry/ Medical Pharmacology/ Medical Microbiology will be considered in respective discipline as prescribed by MCI.

d. Qualifications as on the date of counseling shall be considered.

e. If a candidate claims to possess any qualification equivalent to the prescribed qualification, the guiding rule/ letter of authority must be furnished with the application form.

OTHER ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:
a. The candidate must be a citizen of India.
b. The Medical Graduates must have registered their Medical Qualification at Central/ State Medical Council.
c. The candidate must not be continuing or have completed the tenure as Senior Resident/Tutor in any MCI recognized Institute.
d. The candidate whose service as SR/Tutor has been terminated by any govt. medical college in the state for whatsoever reason will not be considered for re-appointment.

APPLICATION FEE:
For each discipline applied for, a candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs.1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) in shape of Demand Draft (signed at back by the candidate) to be drawn in favour of ‘Dean & Principal, Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College and Hospital, Koraput’ payable at SBI Koraput.

DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED: (Self-attested photocopies)
a. One passport size recent colour photograph signed by the candidate at front to be pasted on the application form;
b. H.S.C./ Equivalent Certificate in support of age;
c. +2/ Equivalent Examination Certificate;
d. MBBS/ BDS/ M.Sc. Pass Certificate;
e. MD/ MS/ MDS Pass Certificate;
f. Mark sheets in support of all the aforesaid examinations (i.e. from H.S.C. to MBBS/ BDS/ M. Sc.) passed including fail marks and chance certificate if any
g. Certificate indicating the chances taken to obtain the degree (MBBS and Post-Graduate degree)
h. Certificate of Internship Completion;
i. Certificate of Registration for Medical Qualifications at Medical Council of India (Both up to date UG & PG);
j. ‘Service Certificate’ from competent authority for Govt. of Odisha employees;
k. ‘No Objection Certificate’ from Non Odisha Govt. Employer/Authority (as per format enclosed);
l. Certificate from competent authority in support of Reservation; SEBC certificate must of the current year;
m. Physically handicapped certificate;

n. If a candidate claims to possess qualification equivalent to the prescribed qualification, the rule/ authority (with number and date) under which it is so treated must be furnished with the application form.

HOW TO APPLY :
a. Candidates are required to apply in the prescribed format, which can be downloaded from the website dmetodisha.gov.in

b. Candidates are required to send their application by Registered Post/ Speed Post only with Superscription “Application for the post of _____________” on the envelop to “The DEAN & Principal, Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College and Hospital (District Headquarter Hospital Campus), Koraput, Odisha-764020

c. The candidate has to submit a single application form duly filled in even if he/ she is applying for multiple disciplines; however a single Demand Draft worth an amount @ Rs.1000.00 per discipline has to be enclosed.

d. Application received incomplete in any respect or received late after the stipulated period are liable to be summarily rejected. No corresponded in this regard will be entertained.

e. E-application shall not be entertained.
f. Any corollary or modification to this advertisement shall only be published in the website “dmetodisha.gov.in”.
