Academic Consultant Recruitment :

Applications on the prescribed proforma for filling up the following position purely on contractual basis at the IGNOU Regional Center, Jorhat, are invited from eligible candidates:

Position(s) : Academic Consultant (Full time)

Eligibility :
** Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade at the Master’s Degree level from an Indian University, or/an equivalent degree from a foreign university.

** Besides the above, candidates should have cleared the NET conducted by the UGC/CSIR. However, the candidates having a Ph.D. degree are exempted from NET.

** Preference will be given to the candidates having knowledge of computers.

Retired academicians may also apply. Only candidates fulfilling the prescribed eligibility conditions mentioned above need to apply. Date of interview will be intimated subsequently.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Canvassing in any form will be disqualification. The engagement on the above vacancies is purely contractual in nature without having any claim for a regular appointment in the University and/or at the Regional Centre.

Monthly Remuneration of Rs. 40,000/-(Rupees Forty Thousand) only will be paid to the Academic Consultant for the period of engagement.

Maximum age: 65 years.

The last date for receipt of duly filled-in application form at Regional Centre, Jorhat is 10th March 2017. Application forms received after the last date will not be entertained.
