COURSES OFFERED THROUGH AUAT :
Admissions to all courses run by the University are made through Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT) The AUAT-2017 will be held in different courses:

UNDER-GRADUATE COURSES :
Technology
4-year B. Tech in (Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering), 5-year MCA, B.Sc- M.Sc in Computer Science (5-year), Lateral Entry to the 2nd year of B. Tech programmes.

Basic Sciences and Management
Integrated B.Sc-M.Sc in (Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics) and 5 year integrated B.Sc-M.Sc in Biological Science (Botany, Zoology & Microbiology)
4-year B.Sc Nursing (only for female candidates)
5-year Integrated Master of Business Administration (BBA-MBA)

Humanities and Social Sciences
3-year B.A. Hons. in (Arabic, Theology, Urdu, Islamic Studies) & 5-year integrated (English, Geography)

POST GRADUATE COURSES :
Technology
2 year M. Tech in (Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering)

Basic Sciences
2 year M.Sc in (Mathematics, Statistics and informatics) and 3 year MCA

2-year MA in (English, Bengali, History, Arabic, Geography, Urdu), 2 year LLM, 2 year JMC & 2 year MM/ MA in Islamic Theology

Instruction for online application:
** Before filling up online application form applicants are requested to check his/her eligibility criteria whether he/she is applicable for that particular programme or not.
** One applicant can apply maximum three programmes subject to fulfillment of his/her eligibility and availability.

Document required at the time of application:
Scan copy of applicants photo and signature, size- maximum 1024 KB, format JPEG/JPG or PNG.

Process of filling up online application form:
There are four steps in this process
Step I: Applicant have to register himself/herself first.

Step II: In this step applicant have to choose programme(s). One applicant can apply maximum three programmes subject to fulfillment of his/her eligibility and availability. Availability of programme(s) will be shown to him/her depends on DOB.

Step III: In this step applicant have to choose centre of examination and continue for payment Select the centres in order of your preference. Final decision regarding allotment of the centre for AUAT-2017 will be taken by the authority.

Step IV: Applicants make his/her payment in this step. The cost of the application is non-refundable.

If any step(s) is completed applicant can continue for next step at any time by login through his/her Application id and DOB (will be send to his/her mail id ).
Options given in the Application cannot be changed at the later stage after submitting.

WHO CAN APPLY :
Any Citizen of West Bengal (in General Quota) less than 22 years of age for Under-Graduate courses can apply. A foreign candidate can also contact the University for admission in desired courses.

There is no reservation of seats except the ‘Physically Handicapped’ category. 5% of seats are reserved for the students who are not the domicile of West Bengal. Such candidates have to apply in ‘Other States (OS)’ quota. These candidates have to submit relevant documents with their confirmation sheet.

NB :
** No money shall be return once the application form is successfully submitted.
** No donation or capitation fee is required to be paid for admission to any course offered by the University.
** Candidates are requested to go through the admission criteria in the admission brochure in detail before applying for any courses.
** Any changes in the dates or any other important matter will be notified in the University website (admission section), thus, candidates are requested to go through the University website regularly.
** If an applicant is found ineligible or submitted any wrong information detected at a later date even after admission, his/her admission will be cancelled. The decision of the authority regarding the eligibility of any applicant shall be final.
