Name of the Project:
“Isolation, characterization of osteogenic and neurogenic potential from adipose tissue and its application in canine” sponsored by ICMR, Govt. of India, P.I. of the Project: Prof. S. K. Guha, Deptt. of Veterinary Surgery & Radiology, Faculty of Veterinary & Animal Sciences.
1. Post : Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – One
Duration : Till termination of the project.
Age: Not above 35 years for SRF as on 28.04.2017
Qualification: SRF
Essential Qualification :
Post Graduate Degree in Biotechnology/Biochemistry with NET qualification or Post Graduate in Veterinary Biotechnology/Biochemistry with excellent Academic record.
Two years of research experience. Hands on experience in cell culture and molecular biology techniques. Knowledge of stem cell culture and working experience in stem cell lab will be given preference.
2. Post-Animal attendant- One
Essential- Class VIII passed, hard working &laborious individual Experience in handling animals.
Desirable: Age preferably below or around 30 years (as on 28.04.2017) with knowledge of maintaining accounts and computer operation.
Duration: Till termination of the project.
Salary of SRF: Rs.28000/- p.m. + HRA@ 30% (Rs. 8400/- p.m.)
Salary of Animal Attendant: Rs.15, 800/- p.m.
Place of work:
Stem Cell Laboratory, Deptt. of Veterinary Surgery & Radiology, Faculty of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Kolkata 700037 and other concerned Departments/ Offices of the University and any place within and outside the State to be decided from time to time by the PI as per requirement of the project.
Nature of duties:
All technical and scientific works associated with the broad mandates of the project.
All the appointment is purely temporary and coterminous with the tenure of the project. The appointment therefore, does not confer any right/ claim implicit or explicit for regularization or absorption against any University post.
Venue: Office of the Director of Research Extension and Farm, WBUAFS, 37 K.B. Sarani, Kolkata-37.
