QUALIFICATION :
Assistant Librarian :
Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/ Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree and a consistently good academic record with superior knowledge of computerized library service with qualified in NET/SLET/SET.
Desirable:
PG Diploma in Library Automation and networking or PGDCA or equivalent

Office Superintendent :
First Class (Honours) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent grade from a recognized University or Institute in any discipline.
OR
Master’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute with excellent academic record.
Knowledge of Computer applications viz. word processing, spread sheet.

Accountant :
First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with Honours in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent in grade from a recognized University or Institute.
OR
Master’s Degree in commerce / MBA (Finance) from a recognized University or Institute with excellent academic record.
Knowledge of Computer applications viz. word processing, spread sheet and computer based accounting software.

Technical Assistant (System/ECE/EEE/CSE) :
First Class Bachelor’s (Honours) Degree in Sciences in relevant subject or equivalent grade from a recognized University/ Institute
OR
First class Diploma in Engineering in relevant field with excellent academic record.
OR
Post Graduate degree in science or B.E/B.Tech in relevant filed from a recognized University or Institute.
Desirable: PGDCA or equivalent from a recognized institute.

Stenographer :
12th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University. Minimum speed in short hand 80 w.p.m in Stenography.
Desirable: Proficiency in Computer Word processing and spread sheet with advance skills.

Junior Engineer (Electrical) :
First Class Diploma in Engineering in relevant field with excellent academic record
OR
Post Graduate degree in Science or BE/B. Tech. in relevant field from a recognized University or Institute.

Junior Assistant :
10 + 2 in any discipline with a minimum typing speed of 35 w.p.m. and proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spread sheet.
Desirable: Proficiency in other computer skills, stenography skills

Filled in application in the prescribed format (available in the website nitpy.ac.in ) along with the original certificates and one set of self-attested photocopies of all the relevant certificates should be produced at the time of walk in interview at NIT Puducherry, Thiruvettakudy, Karaikal – 609 609.

Terms and conditions:
** The nature of appointment is purely temporary for a period of 11 months.
** One month notice is required on either side to quit the post.
** No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
** Remuneration for each post will be as per Institute norms.
** The selected candidates will be required to join immediately.
** Canvassing in any form will render a candidate ineligible.
** Separate applications must be submitted for each discipline/post if a candidate is applying for more than one discipline/post.
** Institute reserves the right to select or reject a candidate without assigning any reason/s thereof.
** The institute reserves the right to defer or cancel the advertisement at any stage of processing without assigning any reasons, if required.
** The institute reserves the right to place a reasonable limit on the total number of candidates to be called for test or interview. Mere fulfillment of qualification does not entitle a candidate to be called for test or interview.
