Medical Officer Recruitment :

North Eastern Institute of Folk Medicine (NEIFM), an autonomous Institute under Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India, hereby invites applications from Indian Citizens/retired Medical Officers for the following posts to be filled up on Contract basis for 1(one) year as mentioned below.

Eligible candidates may submit their applications in the prescribed format alongwith self attested copies of certificates and testimonials, two copies of recent passport size photograph. Only candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria, will be called for the test/interview as the Institute deems fit.

Name of Post : Medical Officer (Ayurveda)
Pay Scale : Rs. 36,000/- for Bachelor Degree or Rs. 48,000/- for MD in Ayurveda) (on Contract for 1(one) year

Required qualification and Experience :
Qualification: Bachelor degree in Ayurveda (BAMS) or Master Degree in Ayurveda (AMS) from a recognized university and having registered in any State Board for Practitioner in the respective field.
Desirable:
i) Experience as Medical Practitioner in Govt./Autonomous/ Public Sector Undertaking or Institute of repute.
ii) As the MO(s) is expected to work in the field of strengthening Folk Medicine with Institute, candidates having MD in AMS degree/Aptitude/keen interest in Folk Medicine will be given preference.

Name of Post : Medical Officer (Homoeopathy)
Pay Scale : Rs. 36,000/- for BHMS or Rs. 48,000/- for MD in Homoeopathy) (on Contract for 1(one) year)

Required qualification and Experience :
Qualification: Bachelor degree in Homoeopathy (BHMS) or Master Degree in Homoeo (HMS) from a recognized university and having registered in any State Board for Practitioner in the respective field.
Desirable:
i) Experience as Medical Practitioner in Govt./Autonomous/ Public Sector Undertaking or Institute of repute.
ii) As the MO(s) is expected to work in the field of strengthening Folk Medicine with Institute, candidates having MD in HMS degree/Aptitude/keen interest in Folk Medicine will be given preference.

Name of Post : Medical Officer (Sowa Rigpa)
Pay Scale : Rs. 36,000/- for BTMS or Rs. 48,000/- for MD TMS (on Contract for 1(one) year)

Required qualification and Experience :
Qualification: Bachelor degree in TMS/Master Degree in TMS from a recognized university and having registered in any State Board as Practitioner in the respective field.
Desirable:
i) Experience as Medical Practitioner in Govt./Autonomous/ Public Sector Undertaking or Institute of repute.
ii) As the MO(s) is expected to work in the field of strengthening Folk Medicine with Institute, candidates having MD in TMS degree/Aptitude/keen interest in Folk Medicine will be given preference.

The candidate(s) found eligible will be called for test/ interview (date will be notified later on) for selection against the post. Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria should submit their application in the Prescribed format which can be downloaded from the website “neifm.nic.in”.

Applications in prescribed format completed in all respects enclosing self-attested copies of all certificates, mark sheets, testimonials in support of age, educational qualifications, experience etc. should reach the institute within 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement in the Employment News/News Papers.

The envelope containing application form should be superscribed “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF________________ Sl No.___________ “and sent by registered/Speed-Post.
