Library Assistant Recruitment :

Applications are invited to fill up the following posts purely on contract basis for initial period of 11 months on consolidated remuneration basis:

Name of Post : Sr. Library and Information Assistant;
No. of Vacancy : 03 (UR:02; SC:01)
Essential Qualification:
(1) B.Sc. Degree or equivalent.
(2) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Library Science from a recognized University or Institute
Desirable :
a) Two years experience of acquisition of books, periodicals and documentation work in a library of standing or repute.
b) Knowledge of computer.
c) Typing speed of 30 words per minute.
Consolidated Remuneration: Rs.36816/- per month
Age Limit : 18-30 years as on date of receipt of application.

Name of Post : Statistical Assistant;

Essential Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Statistics/Operational Research/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics or Post Graduate Degree in Economics/Mathematics/Commerce (with Statistics as one of subject/papers in post Graduation/Graduation level).
Note: The candidates who have passed Statistics as one of the papers/subjects including Quantitative Method/Techniques or Costing & Statistics/Basic Statistics/Business Statistics/Introduction to Statistics etc. at Graduation/Post-Graduation level are also eligible.
Desirable : Working knowledge of computer
Consolidated Remuneration: Rs.36816/- per month

Name of Post : Laboratory Assistant;

i) Matriculation/Hr. Secondary/Sr. Secondary (10+2) with science.
ii) Diploma in Medical Laboratory Techniques from a recognized Institution
OR
10+2 vocational course in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) from school recognized by State Government.
Consolidated Remuneration: Rs.32542/- per month
Age Limit – 18-27 years as on date of receipt of application.

Name of Post : ICU Technician

Essential Qualification:
(1) Matriculation/Hr. Sec./Sr. Sec. (10 plus 2) with Science from a recognized Institution/Board.
(2) Operation room Assistant Course from recognized Institution.
Experience: Five years experience as O.T. Assistant in O.T./CTS/Neuro-surgery/Gastro Surgery/CSSD/ Anaesthesia/Gas Plant/Anaesthesia workshop/ICU Surgical/Resuscitation in recognized Hospital/Institution.
Consolidated Remuneration: Rs.36510/-per month.
Age Limit: 25 years as on date of receipt of application.

Name of Post : Technical Assistant (ICU)

Essential Qualification:
i) Matriculation/Hr. Sec./Sr. Sec. (10 plus 2) with science from a recognized Institution/Board.
ii) Operation room Asstt. Course from a recognized institution.
iii) 5 years experience as O.T. Technician in Operation Theatres/CTS/Neuro-Surgery/Gastrosurgery/ CSSD/Anaesthesia/Gas Plant/Anaesthesia workshop/ICU Surgical/Resusciation in a recognized Hospital/Institution.
OR
i) B.Sc. from recognized university.
ii) 3 years experience as Technicians in Operation theatres including O.T./CTS/Neuro Surgery/Gastro Surgery/CSSD/Anaesthesia/Gas Plant/Anaesthesia work shop/ICU Surgical/Resusciation in a recognized hospital/institution.
Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 36510 /- per month
Age Limit – below 25 years as on date of receipt of application.

Name of Post : Library Attendant;
No. of Vacancy : 01 (UR:01) [Reserved for Pwd {HH, VH (LV), OH (OA,OL,BL)}]
Essential Qualification:
iii) Matriculation or equivalent.
iv) Experience relevant to a Library from recognized institute/Hospital of atleast one year.
Consolidated Remuneration: Rs.18720/- per month
Age Limit – 18-25 years as on date of receipt of application.

General Instructions:
1. Prescribed application forms complete in all respect must reach to Offg. Joint Director, IHBAS, Dilshad Garden, Delhi – 110095 on or before 21.07.2017.

2. Candidate applying for the posts mentioned in the advertisement may send application in appropriate Format, photograph, along-with attested copies of Educational Qualification, Experience Certificates and a Demand Draft of Rs.500/- for the posts of Sr. Library and Information Assistant & Statistical Assistant and a Demand Draft of Rs.250/- for the post of Technical Assistant (ICU), Laboratory Assistant, ICU Technician and Library Attendant in favour of Director IHBAS, Delhi (Exempted for SC/ST/PWD candidates).

3. The qualification from recognized organization of Govt. will only be considered for eligibility.
4. The cut off date for determining the eligibility and age will be as on last date of receipt of application.
5. While coming for the Skill Test candidates should bring all the original documents for verification.
6. No TA/DA will be allowed for appearing in the Skill Test.
7. Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD as per rules.
8. In case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD Category the applicant should be in possession of appropriate certificate issued by Competent Authority. However OBC certificate issued by the Authority of Delhi Govt., only will be accepted.
9. This engagement is purely on contract basis. All service matter including leave will be governed under contract service rules.
10. The reserves the right to increase/decrease or not to fill any of the above posts.
11. In case of large number of eligible candidates, they may have to go through theory test/skill test in multiple stages as per the decision of Director, IHBAS.
