Applications are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment of RA/SRF/Contractual Research Fellow on temporary basis under the All India Network Project on Fish Health at this institute.

Name & No.of Posts : Research Associate (1 Post)
Qualification :
Essential: Ph.D Microbiology / Marine Biology / Biotechnology / or in any area of Life Sciences with specialization in Aquaculture / Fishery
or
Master’s degree in the above disciplines with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship / Associateship / Training / other engagements
Desirable: Working knowledge on biochemistry, microbiology, molecular biology, biotechnology as evident through dissertation/project work/research publication. Necessary computer knowledge for recording and analysing scientific research works
Age Limit :
40 years for men & 45 years for women.
Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC as per GOI norms (At present 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC).

Qualification :
Essential: Post graduate degree in any area of Life Sciences with specialization in Biotechnology / Microbiology / Molecular Biology with NET qualification
or
Post graduate degree in professional courses with specialization in Biotechnology / Microbiology/ Biochemistry / Marine Biology / Molecular Biology.
Desirable: Working knowledge on biochemistry, microbiology, molecular biology, biotechnology, immunology as evident through dissertation/project work/research publication. Necessary computer knowledge for recording and analysing scientific research works
Age Limit :
30 years for men & 35 years for women.

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
The Candidates fulfilling the above criteria may send their application in the prescribed proforma (attached in page 3) only through e-mail to pkpatil[at]ciba.res.in positively on or before 30th November 2016.
Applications received after the last date will not be entertained under any circumstances. The applicant should indicate “Application for RA/SRF/CRA” in the subject line of his/her email.
Communication will be sent only to the short-listed candidates by email to attend for the interview to be held at a later date at CIBA, Chennai. Director, CIBA reserves right to accept or reject any applications. CIBA does not enter into correspondence with the applicants for not calling them for interview.
Candidates should appear for the interview with filled in application form, original and photocopies of the certificates along with passport size photograph. TA/DA will not be paid for attending the interview.
