Field Supervisor, Clerk Recruitment :

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the post of Field Supervisor and Clerk under the ‘Cost of Cultivation Scheme’ sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Govt. of India.

1) Name of the post : Field Supervisor
No. of Post : 1 (one)
Essential Qualification :
(i) M.Sc (Agri.) in Agricultural Economics/Agricultural Statistics/Plant Protection
(ii) 2 years post-qualification experience in field data collection, analysis and supervision.
(iii) PGDCA from reputed institute.
Pay Scale : Rs. 8,000-35,000 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,900
Nature of post : Regular

2) Name of the post : Clerk
No. of Post : 1 (one)
Essential Qualification :
(i) Graduate in Science/Arts/Commerce from a Govt. recognized University.
(ii) PGDCA/DCA from reputed institute.
Salary : Rs. 21,000/- (Consolidated)
Nature of post : Contractual

Note:
** The posts are under the Govt. of India Plan Scheme entitled, “Comprehensive Scheme for Studying the Cost of Cultivation of Principal Crops in India” and are co-terminus with the Scheme.

** Mere possessing the required qualification will not make a candidate eligible for the post. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview/written test.
** No TA/DA will be borne by the centre for appearing in the test/interview, if called for.
** Maximum age limit will be 38 years as on 01st January 2016, which is relaxable for candidates belonging to reserved category as per rules.
** In service candidates should apply through proper channel.
** The service of the regular position will be governed by CPF rules till the implementation of the New Pension Scheme (NPS).

** Demand Draft/Indian Postal Order amounting Rs.300/- in case of General/OBC candidates and Rs.150/- in case of SC/ST candidates must accompany the application form in favour of “Director, Cost of Cultivation Scheme, AAU, Jorhat” along with self attested copies of other supporting documents to be submitted to the Director, Cost of Cultivation Scheme, Assam Agricultural University campus, Jorhat-13, Assam on or before the cut of date, i.e. 26th December, 2016.

** Incomplete application/non submission of requisite documents and applications received late will summarily be rejected.
** Reservation: The post of Field Supervisor is unreserved while the post of Clerk is reserved for OBC candidates.
** Self-addressed stamped (Worth Rs. 6/-) envelope, Size-23cm X 10cm should be sent along with the application form.
** Canvassing in any form will lead to rejection of candidature.
